Equinox (1970) FULL MOVIE | Cult Classic Sci-Fi Horror Thriller

Enter a realm of ancient evil, forbidden texts, and terrifying stop-motion monsters! 📚😈 Watch the complete 1970 supernatural horror classic, Equinox (also known as The Beast), a legendary independent film that went on to heavily inspire modern horror masterpieces like The Evil Dead. Originally conceived as a short film titled The Equinox... A Journey into the Supernatural by a young Dennis Muren (who later became an Oscar-winning special effects legend), this feature-length cult classic stands as a testament to creative indie filmmaking and incredible retro practical effects. The Story: Four young friends—David, Susan, Jim, and Vicky—head out into the secluded California hills for a weekend picnic. Their trip takes a terrifying turn when they encounter a crazed, disheveled old cave-dweller who hands them an ancient, leather-bound book. Unbeknownst to them, it is a forbidden grimoire filled with dynamic magical symbols, dark rituals, and secrets of the occult. When they casually recite a chant from the text, they inadvertently breach a barrier between dimensions and unleash a wave of pure evil. Suddenly, the woods become a nightmare landscape patrolled by a sinister, cackling park ranger named Asmodeus—who is actually a powerful demon in human guise. Trapped in a literal battle for their souls, the group is hunted by giant, monstrous entities, a prehistoric ape-beast, and a towering green colossus. Can anyone survive the night, or will the demonic forces claim them all? ✨ Cast & Crew: • David Fielding: Edward Connell • Susan Turner: Barbara Hewitt • Jim Hudson: Jack Woods • Vicky: Robin Christopher • Asmodeus: Fletcher Fist • Dr. Waterman: Fritz Leiber • Directors: Jack Woods, Dennis Muren • Special Effects: Dennis Muren, Dave Allen, Jim Danforth • Release Date: October 1970 • Running Time: 80 minutes ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS: 0:00 - The Asylum & David’s Shocking Interview 7:15 - A Picnic in the Hills: Meeting the Old Man 16:40 - Discovering the Forbidden Book of the Occult 28:10 - The First Incantation & Dimension Shift 42:30 - Attack of the Giant Stop-Motion Monster 55:15 - The True Identity of Ranger Asmodeus 1:08:40 - The Climatic Battle Against the Flying Demon & Resolution If you love vintage creature features, 1970s occult horror, Lovecraftian mysteries, and incredible classic stop-motion animation, make sure to LIKE, COMMENT, and SUBSCRIBE for more full-length classic cinema! #Equinox1970 #ClassicHorror #FullMovie #CultClassic #StopMotion #70sHorror #CreatureFeature #SupernaturalThriller #VintageCinema
