Soup to Nuts (1930) | FULL MOVIE | The Three Stooges First Film Appearance

Witness the absolute dawn of slapstick history with Soup to Nuts (1930)! Written by the legendary Rube Goldberg, this pre-Code comedy classic marks the historic, first-ever feature film appearance of Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Shemp Howard (billed alongside Fred Sanborn as "Ted Healy's Racketeers"). The movie revolves around the chaotic, cash-strapped Otto Schmidt (Charles Winninger) and his failing costume shop business. While Schmidt scrambles to appease his creditors and manage a variety of eccentric customers, his daughter Louise is pursued by an pushy, upper-class suitor, despite being in love with a well-meaning but poor young man. Amidst the romantic misunderstandings and financial drama, Ted Healy and his zany group of fire-fighting, slapstick-prone assistants run completely amok through the neighborhood. While the iconic "Three Stooges" name hadn't been officially minted yet, all the foundational elements of their timeless comedy are on full display here. From the early physical gags and verbal banter to the unmistakable chemistry between Moe, Larry, and Shemp, Soup to Nuts is an indispensable piece of cinematic history and an absolute must-watch for any fan of classic Hollywood comedy! 🎬 Movie Details: Release Date: September 28, 1930 Studio: Fox Film Corporation Director: Benjamin Stoloff Screenplay: Rube Goldberg Starring: Ted Healy, Charles Winninger, Frances McCoy, Moe Howard, Larry Fine, Shemp Howard, and Fred Sanborn Genre: Slapstick Comedy, Pre-Code Cinema, Movie History Runtime: Approx. 70 minutes 📌 Timestamps / Chapters: 0:00 - Opening Credits & Rube Goldberg Intro 1:55 - The Costume Shop in Financial Trouble 14:40 - Enter Ted Healy & His Racketeers (The Stooges) 26:15 - Classic Slapstick Fire Department Havoc 41:30 - The High-Society Party Chaos 55:20 - The Stooges' Iconic Early Routine 1:06:45 - The Grand Finale & Ending Credits 🔔 Enjoyed this historic comedy milestone?
